Formed in 2011, the project is composed by the Italian saxophonist Silvio Zalambani and the Argentine pianist Federico Lechner and proposes own original compositions in Jazz style with Latin American and Mediterranean sounds, but in chamber version.
They have released 2 CDs, Déjà vu (2015) and Viaggiatori/Viajeros (2019), both published by Borgatti Music Editions.
The Duo has performed in theaters, clubs and festivals in Italy, Spain and Netherlands, among many: Il Torrione Jazz Club (Ferrara-Italy), Jazz a Villa Malerbi (Lugo-Italy), Zingarò Jazz Club (Faenza-Italy), MIC (Faenza-Italy), Auditorium Arcangelo Corelli (Fusignano-Italy), Chiostro San Francesco (Bagnacavallo-Italy), Museo del Senio (Alfonsine-Italy), Mama's Club (Ravenna-Italy), Take Five Jazz Club (Selci-Italy), Café Central, Bogui Jazz, Sala Clamores and Café Berlin (Madrid-Spain), Cafetín Croché (San Lorenzo del Escorial-Spain), Teatro Centro de Arte (Miraflores de la Sierra-Spain), Auditorium CPM (Lliría-Spain), 4th and 5th Saxophone and Jazz International Festival (Gran Canaria-Spain), Splendor Hall (Amsterdam-Netherlands).
In 2015 Federico Lechner won the renowned Gardel Prize with his CD Gardelería, maximum Argentine recording award.
